DC Aviation has added an eight Cessna Citation XLS+ business jet to its aircraft fleet, which makes the company the largest XLS+ operator in Europe.
DC Aviation is Germany’s largest operator and continues to expand with offices in Dubai, Zurich, Malta, and Moscow.
Michael Kuhn, CEO of DC Aviation, said: “Our experience includes executive jet charter services, FBO services, repair and maintenance services and of course aircraft management services.”
Aviation authorities in Argentina and Brazil have given the certification nod to Cessna’s Citation M2, paving the way for deliveries to those countries to begin imminently.“The market in Latin America has shown tremendous interest in the Citation M2 due to its competitive acquisition and operating costs, its airport performance and its advanced onboard systems,” said Robert Gibbs, Cessna’s vice president of international sales.
WINGX Advance says European business aviation flight activity in July declined by 2.7 per cent, when compared to the same month in 2013. European business aviation flight activity in July was down 2.7 per cent year-on-year, says German-based consultancy WINGX Advance.As well as flight activity dropping for the month, the company is also reporting that year-to-date activity has fallen by 0.7 per cent.
Flights from Russia and Ukraine were badly affected by the current crisis in the region, with flight activity out of Russia dropping by 12 per cent and by 49 per cent from Ukraine.
Aerocardal Limitada in Santiago, Chile is the first South American FBO to join the Air Elite network, according to an announcement made by World Fuel Services at the LABACE show in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
Aerocardal is a full-service FBO, charter operation, and maintenance facility based at Santiago International Airport.
